Partnering with a local development company proves beneficial for both Murphy Wall Beds and Epta Properties.
A few years back, Epta Properties researched development potential in the White Rock area of British Columbia and found a thriving community overlooking the ocean. Due to the pristine location, many young couples and retiring baby boomers were setting their roots in this small suburb of Vancouver.
Doors opened when other development properties were granted permission to construct high rise buildings within the city core. Seeing the growth potential, Epta Properties jumped at the chance to construct a high rise condo complex they describe as "luxury" located at the top of the hill with a sought after view. In their own words:
"How is luxury defined? A contemporary tower of distinctive design looking out on iconic views. Interiors finished with top names like Bosch and Fisher & Paykel, gas cooktops, granite counters in the kitchen and marble counters in the bathroom. And exceptional extras including a furnished guest suite and a live-in caretaker offering concierge services, purely for your convenience."
What else did the Avra condo's offer? A Murphy Bed of course. The marketing team for Avra wanted an elegant and efficient storage solution to offer their clients as an upgrade in their condo purchase. They approached Murphy Wall Beds Hardware Inc soliciting suggestions and design ideas for incorporating a Murphy Bed into the Avra Sales Centre. Multi-purposing the second bedroom with a Murphy Bed and laptop workstation simply made sense, enhanced the overall value of each unit, and opened up previously unusable space. It was agreed that the Murphy Beds were to be offered in the two matching colour schemes appointed to the interior design with customized options including shelving, side cabinets, desks, work stations or additional wardrobe storage.
The final result was extraordinary. The second bedroom in the sales centre now offers a Murphy Bed with a desk/work station that had not been previously possible with a normal queen bed utilizing most of the floor space. Clients are eager to explore the possibilities of multi-purposing the second bedrooms and completing the sale of their new condo.
