Warranty

Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware Inc. has been manufacturing hardware exacting standards by experienced professional since 1975.

Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware Inc. provides full replacement warranty on any hardware found defective because of workmanship during manufacture. The warranty length is based upon each Murphy Bed product.

The warranty is applicable for both residential and commercial applications.

The replacement part must be returned to our factory for our inspection before replacement.

Safety procedures

The Purchaser agrees to read and follow the instructions outlined in the manual and watch the Safety Video prior to installation and assembly. Failure to follow the instruction may result in injury. Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware will not be responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or injuries as a result of failure to properly follow the instructions.

Our return policy

Hardware Orders

(Panel Hardware and Next Bed)
All return sales will be subject to a $95 deduction for outbound shipping and a 25% re-stocking fee. A further deduction of fees may apply when customs and/or duty charges are applied by the return freight carrier. All returns will be examined upon arrival to the company warehouse and subsequent charges may be added for damaged goods. Returns will be accepted within 30 days from receipt of purchase. Refunds will be processed once all paperwork is completed, goods have been received and shipping/customs fees have been received and calculated. A company check will be mailed for money owed.


Build-A-Bed Cabinetry Orders

Build-A-Bed cabinetry orders will be processed immediately, but can be altered within 24 hours from the original order date. After the 24 hour time period, orders cancelled are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns will be accepted up to 30 days of the original receipt with the Purchaser incurring the outbound and return shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee. Returns must be in original packaging with all items secured in the same manner they were received. Failure to repackage and secure items could cause damage during the shipping process. A further deduction of fees may apply when customs and/or duty charges are applied by the return freight carrier. All returns will be examined upon arrival to the company warehouse and subsequent charges may be added for damaged goods.

Shipping & Delivery

Hardware Orders

All hardware orders are shipped UPS standard ground service within 1-2 business days of original order. Once shipped it takes approximately 5-8 business days to arrive. The Purchaser will be expected to accept the delivery and, if needed, document any damages incurred during the shipping process. When reporting damages to Murphy Wall Beds Hardware, emailed photo’s of incurred damages will be necessary to finalize claims. If the courier is unable to complete the delivery of a shipment, a notice will be left stating that a delivery has been attempted.


Build-A-Bed Cabinetry Orders

All Build-A-Bed Cabinetry orders are shipped via a Motor Freight Company, using curbside delivery service (Shipments with a pallet delivered by Semi-Trailer Truck or similar vehicle and offloaded by Purchaser).

Curbside delivery service provides delivery of your item(s) to the curb, or as close to, the Purchasers property line and/or driveway provided the location is deemed assessable by the delivering carrier. This service does not include set up or assembly of item or removal of packaging material. It is the Purchasers responsibility to inform Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware at time of purchase of any unusual or difficult location or delivery issues, so necessary arrangements may be made with the delivering carrier, where possible. Purchasers may incur additional shipping costs depending on the Purchasers specific situation. The delivering freight carrier is not obligated to assist the Purchaser with unloading the freight.

Shipment method/procedure must be confirmed at time of order. Purchaser should be aware that all freight is prepaid and that no additional freight charges should be paid to delivering carrier unless Purchasers alters or changes any prior arrangements. Any deviations to prearranged shipping methods will result in additional costs being billed to the Purchaser. In most cases the delivering carrier will bill the purchaser directly for any additional charges.

Purchaser must inspect freight prior to unloading and document any damage on the Shipping Document “BILL OF LADING or DELIVERY SLIP” provided by the delivering carrier. Failure to document any such damage may result in delays in resolving any possible freight damage claims, or the freight claim not being accepted.

All Build-A-Bed orders will be packaged in a wooden crate. The wooden crate will be delivered on a pallet and require a Phillips screw driver to open. The individual components will range in weight between 5-100 lbs. It is strongly recommended the Purchaser have at least 1 assistant to offload the freight. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to notify Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware, prior to ordering, of any concerns or issue that may occur as a result of this delivery. The Purchaser will be given a reasonable time frame to unload freight from the delivering freight carrier vehicle ranging between 20-30 minutes.
